Guess what day it is? Merlot Monday, with L’Ecole N° 41

It's Merlot Month! Unless you have been locked up and not engaging the outside world this is not news. Of course, that’s been the norm for a lot more people of late. So thanks to the good folks at Merlot Me we have a few Merlots to indulge in. This week it’s a wine comprising of Merlot grapes all the way from the Walla Walla Valley in Washington State. With 79% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% from the Ferguson Vineyard which features fractured basalt, and the other 50% from the Seven Hills Vineyards featuring wind-blown loess ( both certified sustainable and salmon safe). L’Ecole N° 41 has some of Washington’s oldest vineyard sites. Many were planted in the ’70s
